Love these candles I won from a blog giveaway!

I just wanted to share with you this great Etsy shop I stumbled upon one day while reading through my blog roll. It is called Dyche Designs by Kathryn, and you can find all of her goodies in her Etsy shop www.dychedesigns.etsy.com. She has an amazing medley of goodies all handmade! She offers everything from natural soy candles to jewelry, handmade bags, and scarves! That is total talent folks! I had the pleasure of testing out one of Kathryn's lemongrass natural soy candles that I won from her blog giveaway at www.dychedesigns.blogspot.com. All I have to say is yum! I am a HUGE candle user & abuser one might say. But I am totally guilty of using store bought candles. What a difference with her soy candles!!! They really do "burn clean." I wasn't sure exactly what that meant, but there is a complete difference burning natural soy, and her lemongrass fragrance is light & relaxing... I have it on my mantle in my bedroom & I've enjoyed it every night when its time to relax and read a book. So a huge thank you to Kathryn and her Dyche Designs!!!

Some newbies

Here's a peek at some new designs I'm testing out before the summer show season begins. Time to get cracking... before you know it summer heat will be here and it will take days for my kiln to cool slowing my production way down! Not to mention, I will totally be distracted by the beach! :)

So here's a sneak peek..

Ok so I've Sprung ahead!

It's nearly summer time.. can you feel it?! The clocks were sprung ahead this morning and I have had spring fever for weeks now! The house is tidy & organized from top to bottom, and now its time to tidy up that studio! List making has begun, and I'm going through inventory lists. Seeing what sold well last year, what's low or out of stock, and working on some delicious new designs to keep my buyers interested!

You will be seeing me at some new venues this year... I'll keep you posted as the dates gets closer!

So at the moment I am reinventing my booth. Trying to keep the load light enough to fit in my little corolla but interesting enough to lure you in!

Here's a pic from a local summer show in 2009. I try to improve my set up each year. This year I am hoping for better vertical displays.

I might need your help as I play with some new space designs! I hope you are up for the job!

I made it onto Etsy Storque!

Sitting in going through the usual online routine I decided to check my google analytics and found an unusual HUGE number of visitors to my Etsy shop. Thinking of course this is must be a mistake.. I tweet about it, and start investigating.

Thank goodness for sites like Craftopolis, and Craftcult I would be so clueless without them!

Craftcult saved me (yet again) by informing me that I was on Etsy Storque's Etsy Finds: Woodland Woo by MaryMary!!! Hooray!!! Thank you Etsy & Mary it is such a great compliment!

As you know, I've been trying to simplify my home, and that includes my mantle. I have it cluttered with bamboo plants, photos, candles, and a mix of Christmas and expired birthday cards. It needs some help!
